A large-scale wastewater (sewer) project for the City of Groton is currently in the works. This project will encompass various improvements to the lagoon, lift stations, and other pertinent infrastructure which will allow us to maintain our compliance with state and federal regulations. As with most large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring sufficient funding is necessary, which will cause an increase in rates.

The purpose of this page is to provide up-to-date information to the residents and businesses within the community relating to the status of the project and proposed rate increase(s).
